FCAS (Familial Cold Autoinflammatory Syndrome) Can Disrupt Everyday Life

Thirty people with FCAS (familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome) were surveyed to see how their symptoms have disrupted their everyday lives before they were treated.

Here is what they revealed:

  • Almost all people with FCAS (familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome) have had to give up most of their time spent outside 95%
  • Many people with FCAS (familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome) said they have had to cancel plans with friends and family 83%
  • Many people with FCAS (familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome) said that it was difficult to manage symptoms while working 78%
  • More than a third of the people with FCAS (familial cold autoinflammatory syndrome) have had to leave their jobs 37%
